Inspired by the Omega Speedmaster CK2998-4 worn by Astronaut Wally Schirra in outer space on the Mercury-Atlas 8 mission, this watch celebrates that historic event.

- Each watch is Individually Numbered on the solid caseback and features Seahorse Hippocampus along with the date (October 3rd, 1962) NASA astronaut Wally Schirra wore his Speedmaster model CK2998-4 on NASA’s Mercury-Atlas 8 mission.

(As it turns out, this Omega Speedmaster FOiS shares more similarities with the CK2998-4 Speedmaster model than the Speedmaster that was later worn on the moon.)
