Description

Corum Admirals Cup 'Tides' Watch 44mm 18k Rose Gold w Carbon Fiber Accents #319/500 - Reference 977.631.55

Here is a watch you rarely see, being made in only 500 Pieces and released circa 2012 or so.  Most of the examples of this watch are with short bracelets that only fit a 7 1/2 inch wrist if you are lucky--But not this specimen!  This watch is complete with all links as purchased new from the dealer and will fit up to an 8 inch wrist size.

Pre-Owned; lightly and carefully worn condition with only slightest visible signs of careful and occasional wear.  Check out our pictures of actual watch and contents.  What you see is EXACTLY What you Will receive.

Comes with original Corum Admirals Cup (blue liquid filled Capsule) Double Boxset with Corum Travel/Carry Case.  Please note the plastic piece which functions as holder for the watch in the liquid filled capsule is missing from the set.

44mm 18k rose gold case with Signature Yachting Flags aka 'Admirals Cup' bezel.

Best of all, if you are a boater or have a nautical orientation, this watch powered by an automatic mechanical movement also indicates the time, strength and height of the tides along with the strength of the currents.  The Tides complication is one of the rarest complications to find in luxury watchmaking.  Powered by the elusive CO 277 caliber movement which was developed in collaboration with the Astronomic Observatory of Geneva and the SHOM (Hydrographic and Oceanographic Services of the French National Navy), this movement took more than three long years to create and is  the only movement in the world that features a tides indicator. It follows a twice-daily lunar cycle with a difference of about 12 hrs 25 mins approximately between each other.

The exhibition see-through case back allows viewing of the movement along with the Stylized winding rotor, indvidually numbered 319/500 to identify this example.

The standout aesthetic feature has got to be the integrated rose gold carbon fiber links which are a show stopper and head turner where the middle of the link is carbon fiber and the ends of the links are solid 18k rose gold.

This watch which is now discontinued and completely sold out had a retail MSRP of more than $33,000 at its release circa 2012 or so.

Our watchmakers have carefully inspected this watch and confirmed that it is keeping 'spot-on' and accurate time well within manufacturers specifications.  We guarantee the mechanical soundness of this watch for 2 years from date of purchase.
