Paying homage to the rare and mythical all-black Monaco of the 70s--whose fatal flaw was in its all too thinly applied black PVD coating.and prone to scratches which revealed the metal underneath it and could not be recoated.  That defect has been cured with next gen DLC which is harder-thicker and significantly more scratch resistant than PVD coatings of yesteryear.    

This watch might as well be brand new; there are no visible signs of wear anywhere on it that i can see.  We took this watch in trade from our customer who was the original Owner and rarely (if ever) wore it.  There are no marks in the PVD coating, no scratches on the crystal or bezel and we think when you see this watch in person, you'd swear it was brand new.....

The Dark Lord is a re-edition of an original Vintage PVD-coated Monaco.  This new 'Dark Lord' model is updated with a much thicker and harder to scratch Black DLC coating and is complemented by rose gold accents and a rose gold winding rotor (viewable through the sapphire exhibition) case back. 

Purchased new from TAG Heuer dealer June 2022 per TAG Heuer Digital Ownership Registration.  This watch is covered under extended TAG Heuer Warranty thru October 2027.
