Condition: Lightly and carefully worn and shows only slightest visible signs of careful and occasional wear a handful of times (if that). No scratches on sapphire crystal, and no scratches on titanium case, bezel, ceramic bezel insert or sides of case, light hairline scratches on titanium caseback.
Bonus Strap - Watch comes fitted to a perfectly matched Blue w Blue hand stitching Perforated leather strap attached to titanium folding buckle. This is how we received the watch and this is how the watch is photographed. This is an addition to the original Blue/Green Signature Omega NATO strap with titanium hardware which comes with the package and shows no signs of even occassional wear. The aim of this limited edition is to “celebrate OMEGA’s unique partnership with Solar Impulse project, whose ambitious aim is to circle the globe in an airplane powered only by the sun.“The watch is made of grade 2 titanium and weights less than 60 grams. With a blue ceramic bezel and Super Luminova coated indexes it is easy to read for the pilots even during night flight. Adding to the lightweight properties, the watch is strapped around the wrist with the aforementioned NATO strap resembling the blue and lime green colors of the watch. It is limited to 1924 pieces. This was the year the first aerial circumnavigation performed by a group of American Army Air Service (predecessor of the Air Force) pilots.
Highly precise thermo-compensated multi-functional quartz movement with special functions developed and tested and qualified by the European Space Agency (ESA). It powers the Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 whose analog hands and LCD windows display, among other values: three different time zones, chronograph, timer, MET (Mission Elapsed Time), PET (Phase Elapsed Time), three alarms and perpetual calendar.
