This Navy Seals commemorative watch features the coolest 'antique' or burnished PVD finish. It looks like one of Panerai's original PVD watches where someone has taken acid or a wire brush to do their best to remove the PVD coating but couldnt get all of it off. This watch features a 44mm Luminor 1950 case made from recycled steel with a very cool "antique' or maybe what might be called a 'burnished' finish with a very sexy gradient Grey dial. The dial features luminous green indices and hands along with a high visibility YELLOW/GOLD seconds hand at 9:00 as a discreet nod to the Gold Navy Seals Trident Pin.
Fitted to the standard Panerai rubber sport strap and Paired with a matching antique finish tang buckle. Also includes an additional original Panerai Khacki canvas strap to match the color on the crown.
This limited edition of 862 pieces was made in collaboration with the US Navy Seals. This is sure to become a collectable and hard to find watch in the coming years as it sold out immediately. The watch is powered by the automatic caliber P.9010 movement with a 72 hour power reserve.
The caseback has an amazing engraving of the United States Navy Seals Emblem. (This watch has been digitally registered into Panerai's PAMguard database and is showing extended warranty until 03/2032 which puts the original purchase date at 03/2024.
