Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 XXL Chronograph 'Art-Deco' 18k Rose Gold - Ref# 2894

Pre-owned: Discontinued model from around 2010 or so. This Black Dial Chronograph is significantly more rare than the Creme dial chronograph - seems like the majority of these watches were produced with the creme dial by a factor of 10 to 1.

Condition: lightly and carefully worn with only slightest signs of careful and occasional wear. No scratches on sapphire crystal (either sides); no deep scratches, dents or dings anywhere on case, bezel, lugs or caseback.

Strap/Buckle: Original GP Black alligator strap and GP 18k rose gold folding deployant buckle--both strap and buckle have appropriate brand straps and hallmarks. Underside of strap is discolored and shows signs of wear

• Oversized and well-proportioned XXL Case measures 36mm in diameter x 44mm in height (lug to lug). Great wrist presence - Super comfortable and Wears comparable to 42mm round watch.

• bold black dial with contrasting gold Arabic numerals, dauphine hands, and red-accented chronograph subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. (Sadly no lume on hour markers or hands.)

• Automatic GP in-house movement powers the chronograph and date complication (at 4:30), visible through a sapphire exhibition caseback

• Water resistant to 30m
