This specimen is the First 'Snoopy - Eyes on The Stars' Special Edition released in 2003 and made in only 5441 individually numbered pieces. (This one is #000x/5441). For this watch, '5441' refers to the total time spent in space during the Apollo 13 mission (142 hours, 54 minutes, and 41 seconds).
The 2nd 'Snoopy-Eyes on the Stars' Special Edition was released in 2015 and made in only 1970 pieces. This edition was immediately sold out upon release.
The 3rd 'Snoopy Eyes on the Stars' edition was relased in 2020 and interestingly, this watch is 'limited by supply only.' This means the watch is available in short supply exclusively for purchase from Omega Boutiques for their best customers at full retail. It also means these watches could be produced and sold in perpetuity without limit to production for the next 20 years.
This example is one the first ever produced, with serial number 000X of 5441. (The exact limited edition number is less than 0004/5441.)
Condition: This is a safe-queen. Pre-owned in lightly and carefully worn condition with virtually no visible signs of wear. We took this watch in trade from its original owner, and if this watch was ever worn, there are no scratches on sides of case, bezel, crystal or caseback. Bracelet does not have any scratches or signs of wear either. Our speculation is that This watch was well-cared for, rarely worn and most likely put away in a safe since it was purchased new from dealer. Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm exact purchase date on this watch since there is no date of purchase filled in on any of the warranty or pictogram cards.
